Forgetting Fear

At this point Voah was just so tired that she forgot to be afraid, her words came out haughtier than usual. It was not out of any sort of self confidence or righteousness but frustration and impatience.

"A child in red? If your god wants blood, why don't you sacrifice yourself?"

She couldn't allow him to leave, even if it was a stupid move to follow. She strode lightly behind him as he moved, still swinging.

"Hunter, now is a good time to find the Pillars!" she shouted behind her.

"Kupen watch over us, Hoi give me vigor, Cambena let my blows be as devastating as the crashing wave on the reef, Vastad guide my body through battle and Zin... spare me once more for another." she whispered her prayers.
