Alex was drifting in and out of consciousness during the horse ride to the helicopter The only thing on his mind was Rainey, praying to the Lord that he spare her life in exchange for his if it came down to it. As they finally boarded the helicopter all he could do was try to reach out and take her hand. "Rainey" he whispered starting to lose consciousness "if I don't make it I just want to say I love you always have."
