In the shadows Ancient eyes

Date: May 12, 1889
Morning about 3 am.

Walking down a dimly lit street it was quiet only a few dogs barking now and then could be heard. The air was slightly cold but that did not bother Sung. The moon was almost full it was bright and clear that morning walking back to the Air Ship. There was some mist or fog close to the ground near any grass or water That did not concern him either.

Reflecting Sung started to realize his life was turning a new leaf. The little girl who helped to bring back Sung to life showed him how to live once again. Now the little girl raised and trained by Sung is a woman and is not sure if Sung is needed anymore. He would have to stand back now and see what she would become. Sung let out a sigh. This must be how parents feel when their children grow up and leave the home, Sung thought.

Sung paused his walking. Sung had a nagging feeling that he was being watched. His instincts developed from many years of wars and battles fought. That thing that makes your skin tingle or the voice warning you. He could not sense any danger or waking parents that could be felt through his Ki. Sung started his walking keeping his awareness high.

In the shadows, eyes watched Sung. Ancient eyes, the eyes something beyond normal time. Watching his every movement, every step. Watching him breathe even hearing Sung's heartbeat. This was not the first time with Sung his whole life the eyes have watched. Wondering if Sung was worthy. Watching his family for hundreds of years.

The eyes wanted to reach out and just destroy Sung for running and not facing the challenges before him. Not trusting the people around him. Not trusting this Ancient knowledge. Losing his place disrupts hundreds of years of planning. Now Sung had grown an older man but his life was just a blink of an eye to this Ancient one.

Sung just kept walking being ever so aware of what was going on around him. He was about to cross an alleyway when he stopped. Then crossed knowing someone was there. Sung would let it go for now. There was something familiar about that feeling he had it sent a shiver through his body.

The ancient eyes just let enough presence to be known. Watching Sung's reaction as he walks. it was a just little bit longer before he got back to the Airship port and the ship he was as quiet as he could be getting back to the room and on the ship. knowing he would have to wake up in about four hours.
