Adonis IV
Six Star Alliance - Fortress Station
8:00-1:00 - (16-01-2396)

The Six Star Alliance's medical unit saw an opportunity to further enhance the combat readiness of their soldiers by offering survivalist and first aid classes. Elio Varec, codenamed "Pawn," was one of the dedicated medical professionals eager to share his knowledge and skills. With the war games on Adonis V approaching, the need for comprehensive preparation was more critical than ever.

The medical unit organized a series of survivalist and first aid classes in a spacious training facility on the space station. Elio, along with his fellow medics, had transformed the space into a hub of education and readiness.

Elio was in his element as he led a group of soldiers in the basics of planetary survival. He explained the importance of finding food, water, and shelter while navigating Adonis V's harsh terrain.

Elio's calm and patient demeanor made it easy for soldiers, some of whom had never received such training, to ask questions and learn valuable skills. He demonstrated how to build a shelter and purify water from available sources.

Alongside Elio, another medic led a class on first aid and injury management. They taught soldiers how to apply tourniquets, dress wounds, and respond to various medical emergencies.

Elio moved on to a practical exercise in fire-starting. He displayed different methods, from flint and steel to solar ignition, encouraging the soldiers to practice under his watchful eye.

The medical unit had prepared an extensive obstacle course to simulate the conditions on Adonis V. Soldiers had to navigate rough terrain, treat simulated injuries, and carry out evacuation drills. Elio oversaw the medical aspects of the course, ensuring that soldiers could respond effectively to emergencies.

In the classroom, Elio explained the importance of improvisation. He used various items commonly found on the station to demonstrate how they could be used as medical tools in the field, turning everyday objects into lifesaving instruments.

During break times, Elio provided one-on-one guidance to soldiers who needed extra help. He shared anecdotes from his own experiences and emphasized the importance of remaining calm and resourceful in high-stress situations.

The survivalist and first aid classes would continue daily during the week, covering a wide range of topics, from identifying edible plants to constructing signal devices for rescue. Elio felt a deep sense of fulfillment as he saw soldiers that needed it, or wanted a refresher, grow in their readiness and confidence.
