Physical Appearance
Kanya is 5'0" tall and weighs no more than 100lbs soaking wet. She has dark
skin, almost black eyes and waist-length black hair. She usually wears
traditional Indian clothing and so looks even more ethnic than most.
Personality and Interests
Kanya is very friendly and very prudish. She does not tolerate rudeness or
crudeness, but is otherwise quite patient. She enjoys taking things apart
and putting them back together, just to see if she can.
History
Kanya was born to a traditional Indian family in Puri, India. Her mother
died when she was young and her father bought a small merchant ship and
started a business carting suplies to the colonies near Earth. He taught
Kanya how to fix anything that could go wrong on the ship and even how to
improvise in her repairs. Their ship was in a meteor storm which severely
damaged their engines and no matter what they tried, they could not repair
them. So, they sent out a distress signal and settled in to wait.
Thankfully, a ship (the Blue Dwarf) responded to their calls and took them
in, at least until their ship is repaired....
