Meanwhile, in the medibay

When: This morning
The medibay was dark, lights dimmed to a low level. A nurse made her
regular checks on the man who laid in bed. His status had been
unchanged now for a good few months and she quietly ran the bog
standard inspection of the I.V. device and that machine that
go's 'bleep'.
The man was in his mid-twenties... Since he had been admitted it had
been her job to care for him as he slept, in a comatose state. She'd
tried to keep him clean, a shave every couple of days and a haircut
every so often. She'd let him grow side burns simply because it made
her job a little more interesting. She checked the notes again. The
man had suffered a severe head injury and a blow to the right eye.
The blow had been powerful enough to damage his retina and although
there was no blindness as far as they could tell, the patient would
be left with that eye being a different colour to the other.
"But thats the least of his problems" she thought.
She finished her check of the equipment and left the room only to
miss something very important... As Callum 'CK' Kochanski began to
move his fingers.
