Mk.9\'s new job: blow stuff up.

Who: Mk.9, Jed and Efof
When: Mere nanoseconds after last post
Where: Drive Room
"Well, nice to see my years of service have finally paid off!" said
Mk.9 sitting down at the defense console.
"Naw, you just happened to step in while Mr.Ballhead 'ere was
caterwallin'" said Jed
Efof opened his mouth to protest before realising that shortly after
he had a gun in it.
"Ug, eg, ery goo ha" said Efof, meaning to say "Um, very good sir".
Speaking with a gun in your mouth is not an easy task after all.
Mk.9 turned away and typed a few command strings into the console.
This was a tad difficult, since only one of his arms actually had
fingers, and even so, it had a grenade launcher built into the palm of it.
Mk.9 sighed, and remembered who and what he was.
"Duh!" he said out loud, and extended a Firewire cable from the back
of his head, before plugging it into the console. Before he knew it he
had manual control of all of the forward-left turrets, and had aimed
them all directly at the small moon he had spotted earlier.
"Vapourize or rubble, sir?" he called back to Jed.
"Oh, say...rubble, then vapourise the debris." came Jed's relpy
"Very good sir."

The wind blew softly amongst the trees of the Akgnaaver Forest, just
outside the small village of Hertringfurrl. Most of the villagers were
singing and dancing on the edge of the forest, enjoyig the soft music
and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees and the grass.
A moment later, they looked down, and most of them found that the
ground was no longer where it should be, and was in fact floating away
with the other half. This other half was also soon to be shocked by
the vision of the initial half dying from decompression. But they
didn't have a whole lot of time to be surprised, as shortly after
that, they evaporated.

Jed patted Mk.9 on the back.
"I could get used to this." Mk.9 thought to himself.
