WHEN: Just after the Nazi ships are defeated
(Note, at this point I'm going to assume that Nik is on the Phoenix
because I don't think anyone specified before- I certainly didn't.)
"Man, I thought that guy would never shut up. Is he always like
that?" asked Nikola.
"What, you mean Keto? Well, he's not al- well, actually, yes he
is," admitted Jay. "Now let's get back to the Dwarf, I don't want
to be around when he comes to."
"Good point. Hey, where's that other guy? Maywood was his
name?" "Hold on, I'll try to get him on signal." Jay fiddled with
the frequency knobs on the radio, but to no avail. What was
supposedly his channel had been completely blocked by white noise,
despite the fact that the two ships were well within the effective
range.
"Stupid piece of junk!" Jay frustratedly pounded on the machine a
few times. "Well, that's strange. It was working a minute ago. Oh
well, I'll just have to get a mechanic to look at it when we get
back. I'm sure Peter will show up eventually."
"Well, for now concentrate on getting us back home. I've got some
things I've been wanting to do before I got on this ship," Nikola
said, leaning back as far as he could in his harnessed chair.
