Trouble is Always a Middle Name

Who: Barf and Rika
Where: Blue Dwarf hallways
When: After making a friend, but still a confusing situation
-------
After Barf agreed to help out Rika, he sighed in his mind and thought, "I'm just
as lost as
she is." For a while, the two just stared at the antique that held the bomb.
Now days,
there was something similiar called a macrowave, but it was a modern piece of
technology
that was deffinitly not as primitive as the microwave. After Barf got tired
looking at the
microwave, he looked at the freak that should have been knocked out. Instead
there was
just a coat with no body in it.
"Great," Barf said with a long sigh. Rika didn't say anything for a while
because she saw
the same thing. This was deffinitly a distressing sort of events.
"Where'd he go?!" Rika asked.
"That's a good question," Barf said. "Eggplants are known to escape very
easily."
This wasn't good news for Rika, and Barf saw that on her expression. She looked
as if she
were carrying too much weight upon her shoulders. He always hated that his job
did this
to good people. Barf could handle this situation, he was trained for it.
However, it's never
a good thing to be alone in carrying the pile of rocks.
"What happens next?" she asked.
Barf wanted to search high and low for the fiend, but that wasn't possible at
the moment.
No emenent danger was about to occur. If it was, he'd know it before it would
happen.
Right now, the bomb was the thing that needed taken care of. "Right now," he
said, "I'll
carry the microwave as we walk over to someone who would know how to help us."
"Sorry," Rika apologized.
"Don't put sweat on your nose," Barf said as he picked up the microwave. As
they were
walking, he realized that the expression he made wasn't well known. "Don't
worry about
it, it couldn't be any other way. Besides, it could be worse."
"Do you say that all the time?"
"Do you think that something worse couldn't happen?"
"I guess not," Rika said. "What could happen?"
"Well," Barf began, "one anoying that could happen would be the bomb falling out
of this
microwave, which wouldn't make the bomb go off, but it would set off all the
security
alarms, bringing all the known security gaurds here with zappers. It's just
exhausting
trying to explain yourself everytime everyone thinks your the one who has caused
all the
trouble. I don't think about the absolute worse things that could happen. If I
did, I
wouldn't state them."
"Why?"
Suddenly, the bomb fell out of the microwave and the security alarms went off.
All that
was left was to wait for the calvary. Barf then looked over at Rika and said,
"That's why?"
