OOC - Longwood awards 2007

Howdy everyone!
Sorry the Longwoods are so late. I hope you can understand I've been
very busy with many exciting and laborious things lately.
Anyway, enough excuses.
The Longwoods are awards to recognise good writing, good use of
characters, and general good work in the BD group.
Some of these awards were voted for by yourselves. In the case of
tie-breakers I've had to judge whichever member/character deserved the
award most.
I haven't broken the awards into departments this year, as some
departments only have one character, so for some it would be pretty
obvious who won.
The awards are as follows:
Most Popular Male Character:
Dr Keto (2nd place was Jed Calvert)
Most Popular Female Character:
Amber Febuggure (2nd place was Tara and Rosette with tied position)
Best Newcomer:
David van den Burghe / Andy Roos
Character that will be most missed:
Tara Febuggure
Best Writer of 2007:
A tie between David Ball and Reuben
Favorite Plot:
"The Mollopods" - The fat Mollopods try to blend the entire BD crew so
that they can pinch their ship to turn Earth into a 24 hr buffet
Best Quote of 2007:
"You're serious?" asked Rosette skeptically, "That's the problem?"
"One screw caused a ship-wide disaster?" blinked Wildflower.
"Technically, creature, one screw caused YOU. I count that as a ship-wide
disaster," said Keto bluntly. Then he turned back to Rufus, holding
out the
screw.
