yuichi taking the ship

who: yuichi, jayne
where: hall
when: shortly after the gravity came back on
<snip>
she walked for a bit longer and just as she was abput to give up hope
who would she run into but the captain of the ship himself, jay
chrysler...
</snip>
it was not in fact jay chrysler, it was jayne chrysler.
jayne was spider hunting, what she found was a cat.
what happened next happened in seconds. yuichi did the only thing she
could think to do to get out of this one. she would focus and force
herself back into a more human form.
jayne saw a cat one moment and a dark skinned human the next.
yuichi looked faintly indian, maybe african, it was hard to tell.
in a swift movement she rushed jayne, the transformation allowing her
to catch jayne of guard, kissed her square on the lips, adding to
jayne's confusion, and kneed her in the gut.
jayne was completely overwhelmed in a one attack. she fell to one
knee, but it was to late.
yuichi shifted back to cat form and darted away.
yuichi's training taking effect. JMC mining ships all had one thing in
common... an on board ship's computer "holly."
she would slip into a random crew quarters and call out, "holly?"
"yeah?" holly's balding head showing on what was once a mirror. "who
are you then?"
she would ignore holly's question. "holly what are the current specs
regarding the hymenoptera situation?" she asked checking the room.
"that's classified that is," holly said with a nod.
yuichi sighed her mind racing through the access codes in her mind.
"omega-3-B-6-8-M-4-5-6-9-8-3-5-7-psi-5-3-2-7-8-kappa-5-8-9-7-1-2-4-3-sigma-9,"
she would say with a sigh.
"that's i big number," holly said with a nod. "what's it all mean?"
yuichi blinked. she knew she had gotten it right. "what are the
current specs regarding the hymenopteras?"
"one in the engineering decks," holly said with nod. "hey how did you
do that?"
yuichi nodded and interrupted him again, "where is jay byrd?" she asked.
"he's in the medi-bay," holly said with a nod.
"what's the fastest way there?" yuichi asked.
