Restarting of the SotM award!

Yes! You read correctly. I wish to restart the Simmer of the Month award!
For those of you new to the game, the SotM award is given once a month to
someone who has done some outstanding posting. The previous winner gets to
choose who comes next!
Since its close to the start of a new year, I have spoken to Onion, and we have
decided to restart the award! So, without further blabbering, here is the SotM
of January 2009!
