Seymour - "Still in Parrotts"

Who: Seymour, Captain Jay, Admiral, Justin and Keto. All still tiny!
Where: Parrotts bar
When: After terrapins arrive

"I heard Dr Keto say we need to plug into a power source. There's a compatible
power lead in the-"
The terrapin fired, catching Dr Keto in the back. Her eyes immediately became
dazed as she became under their control. He lashed out with his leg and did a
roundhouse kick right into Justin's stomach.

Seymour turned away to save his eyes from the stomach-wrenching sight that
followed. Seymour had always thought of Pancake as an irritating little man, now
he had another reason to hate him.
He turned to the Admiral, who was looking horrified. She had the power to remove
Jay as Captain, replace his entire crew, or get the Blue Dwarf taken out of
service completely.
"Is this sort of behaviour normal Mr Ambassador?" She asked.
Seymour saw his opportunity to save the day.
"Apologies Ma'am." He said. "Mister Pancake has always been a problem
crewmember. He wasn't exactly hand-picked by Captain Chrysler, he just sort
of... turned up one day. I think it's one of those job-centre schemes."
Admiral Phillips nodded in agreement. "I'll not judge the Captain too highly.
But what I've seen here today does concern me greatly. If there are any more
cock-ups, I will have to consider a full investigation into the inner-workings
of this ship."
"What sort of investigation Ma'am?"
"The sort that are very annoying. People with clipboards asking lots of
questions. You don't want that do you?"
"Definitely not ma'am!" Seymour said quickly.
Jay had almost sobered up at this point and had been listening in on the
conversation. "Don't worry Admiral Phillips. I promise you everything will go
smoothly from now on." He said sincerely.
A terrapin appeared behind him and fired the mind-control laser into the back of
his head. Without moving anything but his fist, Jay lunged out and slapped the
Admiral across the face. She flinched in horror.
Jay shook his head as he regained control. "Erm... Sorry... ALMOST everything."
He said.
Seymour looked back at the Psi-scanner that Keto had promised could detect the
base of the mysterious terrapins that kept appearing. "There's a power socket in
Marks and Spencers across on the other side of the Promenade."
Jay nodded. "Take it. I need to clean myself up."
Seymour nodded, then wondered how on earth they could carry a large piece of
plastic gadgetry if they were only three inches tall.
