<snip>
The search range was increased and a map showed the entire area, with a glowing
red dot showing the base of the 'Temporal Terrapins'.
"It's further down the Promenade." He said. "It's in a toy shop, but between
here and there is a coffee shop, a charity shop, and a Greggs.
"Good." Said Seymour, clapping his hands together. "Lets get cracking!"
Everyone started walking off towards the shop entrance.

In the coffee shop next door, the vent on the wall near the floor ratted, and
then fell. Three small people jumped out onto the shiny tiled floor.
"Where next?" Asked Rosette.
"That way, there's another vent that will take us straight into the charity shop
next door." Said Jayne.
"Are we missing someone?" Rosette asked as she looked around.
"Only that prick Justin." Said Keto. "And I'm glad."
"Seymour's gone too!" Rosette said, and looked back towards the vent. She
allowed her hands to morph into Hymenoptera tendrils and she walked vertically
up the wall back to the vent.
"I didn't know she could do that!" Said Jayne.
"Hmm… she might have been holding something back on her last medical
examination." Admitted Keto, and rubbed his chin curiously.
"He's not here." Rosette shouted back, maybe he god lost in the pipes…"
"Hellooo down there!" Came Seymour's chipper voice. They looked to see him stood
on the top of the glass counter of the coffee shop, just above the very
expensive and dry slices of chocolate cake. "Anyone fancy a coffee?"
Seymour turned and shouted at the woman behind the counter, who normally
expected to see her customers standing behind the counter – not on top of it.
She didn't see him at first.
"Hello there. Excuse me…. Hey, you with the silly piercings!" Seymour shouted,
until the young woman noticed him stood waving on the counter.
"I'll have a cup of Early grey, a mocha-"
Whether it was because he wasn't wearing any trousers, or just because he was a
three-inch tall human, she shrieked and flicked Seymour off the counter with her
index finger.
Seymour screamed and flew across the room where he landed on a tall circular
table where a businessman was enjoying a hot chocolate and a newspaper. Seymour
fell straight into the hot chocolate and left a person-shaped hole in the frothy
cream on top. After almost drowning in the thick chocolate, he swam to the top
of the cup and coughed up a lungful of really warm chocolate.
"It burns!" He cried.
A soggy Seymour flopped of the edge of the cup ad onto the table just before the
businessman lifted the cup up to his lips.
"Seymour! Are you okay?!" Rosette called from below.
Seymour peered over the edge of the table, his clothes were wet and brown and
the had a thick white afro of cream on top of his head. "Fine and dandy." He
called back. "Although I didn't get my Earl Grey. I'll be making significant
complaints about this shop to the Captain when I see him next."
"Seymour, get down we have to go!" Jayne called. "I don't want to stay this
small forever."
"How?" He asked; pointing to the obvious height of the table he was on. "Wait..
I have an idea…"
Seymour found several drawstring teabags and tied them together by the strings,
making a daisy chain thick enough to hold his weight. He threw the first teabag
into a cup of steaming coffee that someone had just placed on the table. Then he
dangled the rope over the side. Cautiously, he started to lower himself down the
rope to the floor.
As he did so, Seymour didn't notice the coffee cup he was anchored to start to
tip over. As he was halfway to the floor, he felt the rope go slack and he
started to fall. The coffee cup above him tipped over and rolled off the table,
cascading boiling hot black coffee towards the team on the floor….
<Tag. Sorry for the lame attempt at a cliffhanger! Boiling hot coffee coming
towards you, what happens next?>
