"vait." Wolfgang said, "ze beams in zis room are not strong." He continued,
looking up at the roof. "Ve might be able to weaken them enough to make zem
fall."

Justin looked up, and squinted his eyes. The ceiling was so far away from the
tiny man that he could barely even see it.
"How can you see that?!" He asked. "You must have great eyesight."
"I've not vasted my eyesight doing activities that ruin it like you have,
clearly." Said Wolfgang.
"What activities?" Justin thought for a moment. "I thought that was a myth!"
Wolfgang shrugged.
Justin looked around him. Wolfgang was right, this place didn't look stable. He
started to wonder what the room was used for. He climbed onto a shelf, and found
several packs of mouldy burgers and bread buns.
"Peeww!" He said, holding his nose. "This must be the store room for the
McDonalds." He climbed back down and reported to Jayne and Wolfgang.
"Wolfgang mate, you'll love it up there. Plenty more reasons to close down this
place!"
Wolfgang took out his clipboard and started writing. "Also, there's a door over
there. We could probably squeeze underneath to escape."
Jayne pinned Justin against the wall. "We don't need to escape. We need to
destroy these terrapins before they take over the Blue Dwarf."
Justin gulped.
"...so don't you think about escaping." she ordered.
"Pfft. You're not the Captain!" Said Justin. He felt the cloth soaked with
Hymenoptera blood folded underneath his shirt. Just feeling it there gave him
confidence.
"I'm the Captain's clone, he'll listen to me. We have the same brain, just
different experiences." She said.
"And more of an interest in shoes." Justin pointed out.
Jayne slammed Justin against the cold damp wall. "If I tell the Captain that
you're being insubordinate, who's he going to believe? Me or ... you?"
Justin sighed. "Okay okay." He said. "I have an idea, but it's on the other side
of that door. I think I know where it goes to."
"Wolfgang, go with him and make sure he doesn't leave us here." Said Jayne. The
German Health and Safety officer nodded.
Justin and Wolfgang sidestepped past the large crate containing the Terrapin's
base, and squeezed under the cupboard door.
A bright display of primary colours met their eyeballs and almost burned them
out of their heads.
"Wow!" Said Justin.
"Vow!" Said Wolfgang."A toyshop!"
Justin nodded. "I thought so."
"How did you know?" Wolfgang wondered.
"Well, I've been here a few times. I come often to spy on the cute girl that
works here. Sometimes I buy kids toys just to talk to her."
"Izn't dat girl only sixteen?"
Justin shifted uncomfortably. "Noooo, I'm sure she's a bit older." There was an
awkward silence as neither of them said anything. "What! Okay so she's sixteen,
and that makes me a dirty pervert and I'm sorry okay!"
Wolfgang scowled at the disgusting man and started looking around the shop. "So
what can we find in a toy shop?" He asked, and as he walked past an action man
missile launcher, it fired a large foam pellet which knocked him over. "...apart
from more health and safety regulations!" He said angrily.
"Guns!" Said Justin, finding more of the toy cannons. "They only fire foam
pellets though, which is a bit pathetic."
"Foam pellets which can give you a wery bad headache!" Said Wolfgang, getting up
and rubbing his head.
"Not against turtles though, they have tough shells. Foam pellets would be
useless. We could find something more interesting though.... Aha!"
Justin ran over to a shelf, and started to climb. He pushed down a tin which
opened as it crashed to the floor. Fireworks spilled out of the tin, from large
rockets, to small cherry bombs.
Justin lit a match roughly the same size as himself, and held it aloft like a
torch. He used it to light a cherry bomb the size of his head, and toss it
towards Wolfgang.
"Hey vot are you doing?" Wolfgang said as he dived out of the way.
"Don't worry. These things are harmless, I used to play with them as a kid. It's
only a tiny bit of gunpowder-"
The bomb exploded and threw the tiny men into the air, where they hit a shelf of
Star Wars action figures.
"WOAH!" said Justin, getting up. "Did you see that! What an explosion! We can
definitely use that as ammunition. Quick, collect them all up."
They started collecting the cherry bombs, including all the other types of
fireworks like Roman Candles, sparklers and rockets, and placed them into the
back of a yellow tonka truck. Wolfgang loaded the last of the explosives, and
the truck started to move forwards under it's own power.
"Hey vait! Vot is going on?!" he said, falling out the back of the toy truck.
Justin several metres away waved from the top of the square plastic remote
control.
"Throw in a match." Justin said.
Wolfgang looked at the tonka truck full of dynamite, and then at the giant box
of matches on the floor.
"But think of Health unt Safety!" He agued. Then he stopped dead, and pointed
behind Justin.
"What? What is it?" Justin asked.
Justin first checked to make sure the alien-blood-soaked napkin he'd collected
hadn't fellen out of his tshirt. Nope, it was where he had left it. Wolfgang was
staring at something though.
Justin turned around slowly, and saw the giant robot dog that had been chasing
them earlier. It had heard the sound of a cherry bomb exploding.
"Quick Wolfgang, light the explosives and get in!"
"I'll do one, but not both!" Wolfgang said, and then did both when the dog
started to run towards them. He quickly struck the match and lit the fuses of
the first few rockets, then threw the match in the back. Then he quickly jumped
into the toy cab.
The small toy truck was actually to the same scale as him, but instantly
Wolfgang knew it wasn't a real truck when he sat down on the hard plastic seat,
and gripped the immovable plastic steering wheel.
Justin didn't have much time before the dog reached him, he could hear it's
metal pawns slamming into the ground behind him. He found a blob of blu-tac and
pressed it into the lever of the remote-control, forcing the lever into the
forward position.
The truck jolted forward, with Wolfgang in the cab shouting something about them
not going to make it.
Justin ran to catch up with the truck, which was now at full speed. Wolfgang
opened the door and Justin scrambled to get in.
"Zis plan is ludicrous!" Said Wolfgang.
"Which bit?" Asked Justin.
"We're being chased by a savage robot dog in a toy truck full of explosives that
are ready to go off, heading at full speed towards a door which probably isn't
going to open!"
"Ah bugger. The door!" Justin said.
The weight of their small toy truck wouldn't be enough to open the door into the
cupboard. But they didn't have time to do much about it.
Justin and Wolfgang covered their faces as they were just about to hit the door.
Just as they were, the dog caught up with them, overtook, and snapped at the
front of the truck. The robot mutt was moving too fast to stop itself before
hitting the door and did so at full speed. The door burst inwards into the store
cupboard, where the Temporal Terrapins's base was. Several terrapins peered
outside of the crate – seeing a toy lorry loaded with explosives driving towards
them, and a robot dog snapping at it's tyres....
