Mine

“…side!”
Cass slid the goggles she was wearing up into her hair and pulled the respirator down away from her mouth, both pieces of equipment revealing clean patches on her otherwise filthy face
“Sorry Hol” she raised her voice above the noise to address the disembodied head, floating on one the nearby cracked and dirty monitors “I didn’t see you there”
“S’orrite” Holly shrugged “I can see you’re busy”
Turning, Cass smiled out across the noise, billowing dust and activity of the manufactory
“Things are going well” she nodded “It’s only been five days and we’re already well on the way to rebuilding the Drive Room”
She paused to step back out of the way of a huge construction robot as it lumbered past her, carrying a colossal section of hull plate on its back
“Over there” she pointed, directing it towards the massive airlock at the end of the manufactory and wishing, not for the first time, that she still had the neural interface that had been burned out when the STCP had abducted her – Controlling her machines would have been so much easier had she still had the thing
Turning back to the monitor, she frowned at Holly
“Was there anything you wanted, Hol?”
“Yeah, I was just saying that you might wanna take a look outside”
“Why, what have we got?” Cass shrugged, sauntering closer towards the monitor to squint through the dust and grime at the image that replaced Holly “That’s the gas giant... So what?”
The image zoomed in a couple of times on one of the swirling aquamarine bands of gas in the equatorial regions to reveal a space station, partially obscured by clouds in a low orbit in the gas giants upper atmosphere
“What’s that?” Cass breathed, her brow knitting in consternation
“I reckon it’s an old gas mining facility” Holly bobbed in the bottom corner of the screen
“How the hell did we miss that?”
“Well, we’re almost in a geosynchronous orbit” Holly shrugged “and it is as well, so it only just came around beneath us”
“So what do you reckon?” Cass frowned at the stations unfamiliar black lines and gantries “Is it our era or later?”
“Definitely later” Holly nodded “I’d guess it's from around the same period as the space port on Fernando’s – Perhaps a thousand years after you all entered stasis?”
“I suppose we should check it out” Cass nodded “There could be some resources we could use or maybe even some stuff that’ll help Jay. Ping everyone else and let them know there’s an away mission happening as soon as I get scrubbed up”
