The Little Skutter That Could

<SNIP>
Meanwhile Skutter 86 managed to make it way out of Hanger 13 and was still struggling to roll straight. At the current pace it would take Skutter 86 several hours to till it could reach the promenade. Every now and then a few sparks would pop from the holes on the Skutter’s plating. Slowly but surely Skutter 86 kept moving despite needing some serious repairs.

Skutter 86 slowly rolled down the corridors at a whopping three miles per hour. It was hard to roll with a damaged drive system and a torn tread. Eventually Skutter 86 saw a metal stair case that went down several floors. After looking around for other options, Skutter 86 tried to slowly go down the stairs, but like all good intentions this failed to as Skutter 86 flipped over and tumbled down the stair case. Stair after stair the poor damaged Skutter hit and rolled over and over again as sparks flew from its damaged plating. Eventually the poor damaged Skutter managed to grab a rail to stop its momentum.

After the Skutter pulled itself upright and look around it realized it fell down six flights of stairs and managed to stop on the last step. Skutter 86 shook its arm and slowly manged to get down the last step carefully to roll into the next hallway. After looking around, Skutter 86 heard noises and took shelter in the shadows. As the noises got closer and closer the poor damaged Skutter could see a group of three Huzzards (Lizard men) walking by and hissing to each other. Skutter 86 waited till the three Huzzards managed to disappear in the distance before rolling out of the shadows.

Skutter 86 then looked at the direction the Huzzards went and then the rest of the area. After some debate Skutter 86 decided to head the way the opposite way of the Huzzards and slowly trudged on.
