Re: Hunting a Hologram

Allie could still hear everything that was going on around her bee,
not that she could do anything while someone was holding her. At
least she didn't feel so sick anymore.
Sometime later, Allie was aware that she was no longer being held.
I'm free! she thought. Free to, uh...do something, I guess.
Allie's form returned around her light bee. She looked around. She
was back in the brig, the cell designed for naughty holograms like
herself.
The sickness Allie had felt before returned within a moment. She
dragged her body to the bed and laid down, feeling the sweat start to
form on her head.
After a lot of thinking, Allie got up and went to the door. "Hey
guard!" she called.
Two guards stood erectly in front of her cell. One turned and
stared at her for a moment. "What do you want?"
"I want to speak to someone," she demanded.
"I don't think so, deadie," the guard replied, turning away.
Allie hissed in pain and annoyance. "I know my rights, you stupid
livie, and I want to talk to Phil FeBuggure."
Tapping her fingers as she waited, Allie tried talking to the other
guard while the first one went and retrieved the other hologram. "So,
you married? Got kids? I love kids. And animals too. Mainly puppies,
especially when you skin and fry em up like the Vietnamese do." She
chuckled.
The guard ignored her.
Allie saw Phil heading in her direction. He didn't look exactly
thrilled.
"Phil," Allie cooed as the hologram stepped up to her cell.
"What do you want, Allie?" Phil demanded. "I'm trying to actually
have some alone time with Tara after Evil Phil almost killed her."
"Again?"
Phil nodded.
Allie cocked her head. "Phil, I need your help."
Phil was taken back. "Me? Help you? You're kidding, right?"
"No," Allie admitted. "In case you can't tell, I'm sick."
"You can say that again."
"Shut up!" she snapped. "I mean physically sick. There's a crack in
my light bee. Dirk got rid of the poison in my bee, so that's nothing
to worry about now. But the crack is still there, and it's not going
to fix itself. Will you fix it?"
Phil looked skeptical. "How do I know I can trust you?"
Allie replied with a fit of violent coughs. She rested her head
against the holo-barrier. "See? I'm too sick to do anything, never
mind try to hurt you or your girlfriend." She smiled
slightly. "Besides, I think I might have been overreacting with the
whole revenge thing."
"Overreacting?!"
"Will you do it?" she asked hopefully. "I really need your help.
Please Phil?"
<I'll continue this later. I'm tired>
