"Morning all. I'm Jo Peiades. I have a team ready to help with reparing and
refloating this hulk." She smiled. Jay nodded and returned his attention to
the plans.
"Good, we need all the help we can get. As I was saying" he said, looking
back to the group, with his blackened eyes, "zodar's tema have nearly
finished the work on the hull breach, another day and we should be finished
there. Chris, can I count on you to get that finished?"
"You got it Jay,"
"good when thats done, I want half of your team to help with the
reconfiguration of the Scoop. and the rest to start lightening the ship,
start by emptying the cargo bays."
Jay directed a skutter to write a few sentences on his plans, having had his
quite vital left arm borken last night, he wasnt in much of a position to
write, or fly a shuttle, quite a drawback fo a pilot.
looking up at Captain Peiades he said "Do you think you could get a team of
your engineers to help Zodar get finished quicker?"
"I think I can arrange that" she said, and left the room to find her
engineering team.
"One more thing" Jay said, there were a couple of incidents yesterday, such
as Zodar hanging off the side of the ship by the foot that made me realise
injuries could occur, i'm gonna contact medibay to see if they can spare
someone to act as a site medic, and Harris to see if we can get some
security staff keeping an eye out for those things that swept the promenade
before"
After a meeting with Harris,

Jay made his way to the medibay, as he entered, the place seemed quite laden
with patients, but somewhat short staffed. Wlaking over to Wildlfower he put
his only working arm around her and kissed her before asking "Is Keto
around, i hate to say it but i need to ask the jackass for a favour." He
heard Alota giggle and as he turned to face her, he saw she was pointing
towards the floor.
Looking down he saw two newts and a chipmunk.
Jay didnt seem to understand quite what Alota meant. Phil explained about
the argument and the ointments.
Jay and the Keto-newt stared each other in the eye.
A smile slowly formed across Chryslers face, and he burst into laughter, to
which the Keto-newt didnt take too kindly, and jumed onto Jays foot, which
had attached to it, a broken toe.
One small green lizard jumped with its entire force onto Jays right foot,
which hit the pilot as Dr. Keto's entire body mass landing on one
particulary painful body part
"FFFFFFFFffffffffffffffffffffff................." Jay began, but bit his
bottom lip, to stop himself from releasing a rather loud expletive to the
patients and staff.
"Charlie.....you will live to regret that....."
he said once the pain had subsided, turningh to Wildflower again he said
"When Keto is being more reasonable...ir is as close to human again as he
ever was..will you ask him if he can spare you to come and be the field
medic for the repair crew?"
"sure" she said, kissing him agian before he left.
With that Jay limped out towards the lifts. passing Vanessa on her way in to
the medibay.
