There was silence after the door closed for about 1 second, then a small
 
*thud*
 
Niples looked down at the two new passengers, who  were both having trouble breathing.
 
"Welcome on board you two. I am sure you have a good explanation about what was going on"

After a few seconds there was a another couple of thuds. Only these were softer and had rhythm, much like someone was knocking on the door.
 
"Oh, come on. What is it now?" Gulped Phil as he picked himself up off the floor.
 
The door opened to reveal Zodar standing still in mid-knock with a very guilty look on his face.
Phil closed the door quickly.
 
"Hang on Phil, that was Christopher Zodar from Engineering, was it not?" Asked Niples.
 
"No... Why?" Tara interrupted.
 
"I have the distinct feeling that it was." Niples spoke towards the door, "I say, Mr. Zodar, this shuttle is about to launch for a rescue mission of great importance. Would you like to be a member of the rescue crew?"
 
Zodar's muffled voice drifted through the metal door, "Yes sir, I would like that very much, sir."
 
Niples smiled, "Great!"
 
Phil and Tara groaned, "Great."
 
Phil opened the door and Zodar walked inside with his head low.
 
"Sorry. It wasn't my fault. Really." Chris stated, immediately trying to get himself out of strife.
 
"What I can't understand is how you got here so fast. I mean, you weren't in a life or death situation and you aren't a super human, so how the smeg did you get here right after us?" Tara asked, still quite mad.
 
"Well, I was trying to keep up with the bullet so I could pluck it out of the air, but unfortunately I can't run that fast." Said Zodar with a slightly sarcastic tone. "But right now, could someone kill me? I've just been shocked (Thankyou Tara) and have run quite fast in an attempt to stop the bullet. I'm really quite tired."
 
"Not as fast as us." The couple chorused.
 
"You weren't electrocuted beforehand." Zodar gave an evil glare in Tara's direction then involuntarily rolled his eyes in his sockets, he was going to black out again. "Bring me back to consciousness when you decide to be friendly..."
 
And with a sigh, he passed out on the floor.
 
"Should we bring him back?" Asked Phil
 
"Nah..." Said Tara

I almost lost this post when my computer decided to stall... Fortunately, after dealing with the "Blue Screen of Death" I salvaged it.
As you would imagine, I saved it to a file immediately.
Zodar didn't want to put you two in danger... It just happened. He'd never hurt anyone unless he was ordered to do so.
Being an engineer, that doesn't happen much. Please don't take it personally... :)
