"Where they go!?" Bob Harris asked.
"Don't know boss." Davina answered from the sensor station. "They
were there one minute and the next… gone."
"We'd of noticed if they leapt to hyperspace so where the hell are
they?!" Bob Harris enquired.
"Wait a minute, I'm detecting something." Davina then said. "It
appears to be a rift in space."
"Helmsman, set a course into the rift." Bob ordered. "The
resistance needs the Blue Dwarf destroyed if we are to any kind of
have a chance of taking on the JMC."
"Aye, aye sir." The helmsman answered and began to change the ship's
course.
"Boss." Davina started.
"Yes." Bob responded.
"Why is our resistance cell called the 'The Underdogs' when all the
cells have much better names?" Davina enquired.
"Because all the good names were taken." Bob answered. He then
tapped a button on his chair. "Drive room to medical bay."
"Medical vay here, voss." Came over the internal com.
"Nester, we are going to enter a spacial rift so be ready for
anything." Bob ordered.
"Don't worry voss, we'll be ready for anything ranging from a minor
headache to having your body exploding." Nester said over the com.
"How can you be ready for that?!" Bob asked.
"With a mop and bucket." Came the reply.
"We're entering the rift." The helmsman reported.
"Hold on people, this ride may be a bumpy one!" Bob said.
