"Cereburm." Cain said over the internal com in that unnerving cold
tone of his. "Stop asking the insect about its' past and get back to
the cock-pit."
Cain watched as one of the screens flicked into life and a shiletted
head appeared.
"Mr Cain, this the department AI Gayner taking over as auto-pilot to
this vessel. Any action to interfer with this course of action will
result in gas beening pumped into the cock-pit render you and all
present out cold, understand." The shiletted head said in the same
cold tone as Cain's.
"Of course." Cain answered.
It was just then Cereburm entered the cock-pit, he looked at Gayner
and asked. "Who is that?"
"This is the department AI Gayner, Mr Cereburm." The AI
responded. "When you arrive at the destination Mr Cain will
supervise the transfer of cargo while you Mr Cereburm shall be
directed to a holding cell for your induction."
"Induction?" Cereburm asked.
"To prove you worth to the department a prisoner is being specail
held for you." Gayner explained. "This prisoner, who atteampted to
overthrow the control of a JMC mining colony, knows of certain
details the department wants to know. However the prisoner needs to
made to give over this information in a manner where it has not been
force. Your induction, Mr Cereburm, is to get this information and a
confession of his crimes against the JMC from the prisoner. If you
succeed you will be inducted into the department, fail and it will as
you never existed in the first place. Understand?"
