explosions...oh wow...

Alexis was sitting in her lab alone again. Looking about her she
saw the new crystal she had formed in a small expirament she had
been working on for the past few months. She called them Christals
because they looked strangely like christmas lights. Feeling
festive, she put these rocks on strings to enjoy their glow. She
was sitting with her back to them when suddenly there was a huge POP.
"What the smeg was that?" she exclaimed.
Another loud pop resounded in the room. She turned to the source of
the sound. Just as she turned another of the christals popped, a
green one this time. A huge blob popped out and fell to the floor
below. The masses were collecting into a huge red and green
puddle.
"That is a mess...What is going on?"
