'Wake up Kayn' came a familiar voice from the corridor. Kayn woke up and hit his head on the open bonnet of the Valkyrie
'Happy New Year Kayn' said future Kayn as he walked over to inspect the Valkyrie.
'You'll need to tighten this screw here and you'll need to remove the peanut from the lasercannon' he said not even looking at the thing. He looked a lot more like Kayn did now, instead of a couple of years older.
'What the hell is up with time/space now?' present Kayn asked. He noticed the lack of the other two doppelgangers.
'The time has come for me to leave...' said future Kayn bluntly
'Oh...right...ok...' said Kayn trying to take it in
'Here's the schedule, you'll manage' said future Kayn, dropping a sheet of paper and disapeering in a ray of light.
Schedule? thought Kayn...he looked at it. On it was a post it note with a letter

So now he was Future Kayn... He had to make all the events he had seen the past. He read the schedule

Schedule Item 1 - Photocopy this schedule twice - you'll need to... Remember that it is in your trenchcoat pocket
Schedule Item 2 - 23rd February 2101 (It will actually be 24th because you will need to do this at midnight) your time. Take the broken prototype time device from Phils Lab and throw it against the wall of the drive room, hard... Don't worry about Harris with the machine gun...he'll miss terribly and knock himself out
Schedule Item 3 - You will reapear New Years Day 2101 in engineering...say precisely these things... 'Wake Up Kayn', 'Happy New Year Kayn', then point out the defects in the Valkyrie. Say the time has come for you to leave and drop the real schedule. Keep the photocopy. This should result in a time backfire which will suck you through to the next location...
