Ghostly White
Who: Amber, Rufus

When: During the current Dean action plot that seems to have very little action in it (hint get a move on hint)

It had taken Rufus a long time to track his sisters new quarters down. He had expected a few defence mechanisms around the area, because some of his gadgets were missing, but nothing like this. He dodged another swinging spiked ball and rolled under the last laser beam, to finally knock on his sisters door. Amber opened the door, her eyes were sunken in, and had dark black rings around them. Her skin was ghostly white, Rufus had to look twice to make sure this was his sister.
"What do you want?" She said angrily. Rufus was taken aback, it didn't even sound like Amber anymore.
"Amber, can I come in. I... I wanted to talk." Amber growled at her brother in a deep voice but still let him in, not moving from the doorway. Rufus struggled to keep himself from gasping at the state of the place. Discarded packets and needles were strewn all over the floor. He went over to the fridge, numerous congealed and mouldy substances lined the shelves, and a smell of rotting meat came from the freezer. The sink was stacked with mouldy plates and bowls, Rufus could swear some of it was alive.
"What?" Amber said again, this time struggeling to keep her voice from cracking.
"I just wanted to see if you were ok. I was worried, your my sister, no matter what trouble you get into, you know you can always count on me." Rufus was winging it, his Dad had said have words with Amber, but he wasn't expecting a mess like this. Amber glared at him.
"Who sent you? Was it dear old Daddy? or Fly Boy Chrysler?" she was finding it hard to keep her voice level and coughed, when her hand came away from her mouth, Rufus saw flecks of blood there.
"Amber..... I came on my own. I love you and want to help you, but you've got to want to help yourself first." Rufus went to the door, pausing to look back at his sister. He smiled and was going to hug her, but she backed away. "You know where I am if you wanna talk or anything." <To Be Continued>
