Setting the Battleground

ooc: sorry for the screwups guys, i think i know what the problem
was... all this started when i read als post, one of our new guys,
and someone that i know happens to have net access only every other
week, so he'll be posting less frequently... i don't think he read
enough posts before he posted his entrance...
the thing...
<clip>
Dante then turned and snatched Charlie off the floor shouted
something that I dare not repeat and ran back up the corridor for the
second
time in 5 mins
<end clip, begin post>
Jay was slightly stunned, and jack was just getting warmed up, the
bazookoid was raised to jacks level, the smile on his face faded as
he saw the evil in Jay-Bugs eyes, a red glow appeared, then
flickered. This caused him to drop the bazookoid and reel backwards,
Jack took this opportunity, and charged toward him, with a battlecry,
of something along the lines of "DON'T PICK UP THAT GUN!!!" He jumped
as he ran.
Jacks feet flew straight into the chest plate of the EVE suit,
sending Jay down on his back, and sliding a good few metres. Jacks
eyes watered as he made a mental note "never kick the EVE again..."
this repeated over and over in his head. Although Jack knew that the
bug was controlling Jay, he knew that jays body was the thing being
controlled, and the guilt of hurting him rose up, he thought to
himself, over the repeating message "i've got to lure him into an
open space, so i can keep him busy easier". The EVE got up, the
fiery red in his eyes back at full strength, he stomped toward the
bazookoid.
"oh no you don't" shouted Jack, also running toward it, luckily the
imobility of the EVE forbade him to reach down to the weapon, and
Jack was able to push it away, but at the cost of a nasty uppercut,
sending him into the roof, a gas pipe uptured, spraying Jay in the
face, luckily EVE is an Environmental suit, and could withstand the
blast, but the visor got steamy, and blocked his vision. This gave
Jack time to recover from the blow, he got to his feet, and pulled
his arm back, ready to strike at the core of the suit, he hoped that
a hard enough knock would amplify the power behind it, armour plates
cascading into each other and all that rubbish. The knock to his
head made his vision go blurry for a second, but it returned in time
to keep him on target, The arms of the EVE moved in to intercept, but
with no luck.
He struck true.
<tag, lets see how this turns out, as i have no idea about EVE
weaknesses...>
