"Wow. You need to see Cerebrum, you're going to use one of my plans?"
"Unfortunately yes. Well go on! Get him out of here."
"Most certainly." said Dean, leaving the back office.

"Listening to Mr Thomas," tutted Keto, shaking his head as he made
his way back into the office, "What am I coming to?"
A quick medical scan of Amber revealed slightly more than the
obvious wrist-slashes and (assumed) depression...there were minute
traces of strange chemicals in her system. Keto wasn't too certain
about half-GELF physiology, but he was fairly sure that it wasn't
meant to contain...
"Bliss?" blinked Keto, stepping away from the monitor and glancing
back over his shoulder towards Amber's prone form, "And an old dose,
from the levels here. No wonder you were mildly discontent. And I
wonder if daddy knew?"
Then, with about the same speed and impact as glaciers mating, Keto
put two and two together. His eyes lit up.
"But Chrysler did, didn't he?" he murmured, "And that's why he had
to fire you. And THAT'S why your father was so angry with
him...which means he can't know!"
Keto's train of thought was derailed by a buzz from the office door.
"Charlie, it's me!"
The door slid open to reveal Wildflower. Keto quickly wiped the
results from the screen.
"My joy runneth over," he said sourly, "Where's young master
FeBuggre?"
"The Tree went to get him - Jay's gone, everyone in the medibay's
gone," stated Wildflower, heading over to Amber, "How is she?"
"Well, apart from having lost several pints of blood and being in a
mental state that she'd WANT to lose several more, she's fine,"
growled Keto, "I wish the Tree would hurry up and find that boy!"
