Ouchies!!

Who: Johnny B. Goode.
Where: Unknown
When: Unknown
Johnny woke up, banging his head on something solid, adding another
bruise to his head.
He had no idea where he was - maybe a cargo bay or something, but it
was too dark too see anything. He checked to see that he was intact -
he felt his ribs, and almost screamed in pain - a couple were
broken. He also had a concussion, a broken finger, two black eyes and
a badly bruised body.
He couldn't remember anything since Parrot's, having that drink, and
then something spidery like on him.
"Oh smeg, that bug thing!" Johnny jumped up, banging his head again.
When his head stopped spinning and no longer felt like it was to
explode, he crawled along the floor, feeling his way through the
darkness.
Johnny remembered that he had a light-up watch, which was still on
his wrist. Unfortunately, it was broken.
He continued to crawl along the floor, and came across a wall. He
followed the wall to where it joined the next wall. He followed that
wall until he came across a door.
"Open!"
It stayed shut. He clapped his hands, but nothing happened. He
slowly got to his feet, but had to cling to the wall for half a
minute while he waited for the room to stop spinning. Then he felt
around the wall near the door for some kind of switch or lever to
control the door or some lights. The tips of his fingers came across
a switch, which his tired fingers managed to flick.
Then suddenly his head hurt like it had been run over by a Mack
truck, and he dropped to the floor. He shut his eyes tightly and
covered them with his hands. After a few minutes, he was able to
open them again, and he saw the room bathed in light.
He looked around. It was a cargo bay, but he couldn't recgonise
anything that was in there. There was a nice little teal coloured
ship that would put almost any ship to shame in the looks department
(but not the Pheonix). His pain quickly forgotten, he walked towards
the craft. Johnny couldn't recognise the make, which he thought was
weird. Maybe Jay would know.
"Holly."
No reply.
Johnny studied the ship. It was smaller than a Bug, but larger than
a midget. Johnny thought it would probably fit about three people.
However, it's main difference to a Bug is that it looked like it was
designed for combat, not as a shuttle. It had some nice looking
weapons - including four gatling guns and a plasma cannon, along with
two laser turrets as well as a bit of armour.
Johnny smiled. He looked around the hangar (he realised it was not a
cargo bay) and noticed he wasn't on the BD at all. He touched the
side of the craft, and a door flung open and upwards (like a
lamboguini), connecting whith his head.
Half a minute later, Johnny got off the floor and entered the craft.
He sat down at the pilot's seat and noticed a book on the floor. By
sheer amazing pot luck, it turned out to be 'The Pilot's Manual for
the 7XR3 Demon Destroyer', and on the cover was a picture of the
craft he was now sitting in. After reading the specs, he learned
that the craft was a long range fighter of average speed and
manouverability, but decent firepower and armour. It seated a pilot
and two gunners, who were able to put their seats in a sleeping
position. It also housed a food dispenser and the most basic of
medibays ever seen, and the biggest engine Johnny had ever
encountered outside of the Dwarf. One of Johnny's favourite things
about the Destroyer, however, was that it housed a worm-hole drive.
Johnny left the Destroyer and walked back to the door. Pressing a
button to open the door, he carefully glanced around the corner, and
saw a guard looking back at him.
"He's awake!" yelled the guard, as Johnny quickly closed the door and
pressed the button activating the airlock, and then sprinted like all
smeg for the Destroyer, closing its hatch and powering up the engines.
A klaxon sounded as the hangar opened up to the stars outside and
laser shots bounced harmlessly off the hull of the ship as he sped
away from his unknown captors.
Johnny flew to a safe distance and then read the manual to learn how
to use the com system, then he pressed the appropriate buttons to
turn it on and the select the BD's emergency frequency.
"Alota, Jay, anyone there? This is Johnny Benjamin Goode requiring
medical assistance."
His only reply was static.
"I repeat is the Blue Dwarf able to hear me?"
Unfortunately the only thing that heard him was an identical ship to
the one he was flying.
Johnny set an SOS message on repeat and quickly thumbed throught the
weapons section of the manual.
"Halt and surrender!"
A helmeted face appeared on his screen.
"Or we will be forced to bring you back anyway possible."
"Like smeg you will!" Johnny exclaimed while working out how to use
the worm-hole drive.
A computer's face appeared on his screen and spoke "Tell me where you
wish to go."
Johnny told him the co-ordinates of where he last knew the BD was at.
"Powering up the worm-hole drive Johnny."
Johnny was taken aback - the damn thing knew his name.
"Worm-hole created, jumping in three, two, one."
Suddenly the noise of the other craft was gone, and Johnny was all
alone. He remembered that his SOS message was on repeat, and he
applied basic first-aid to himself while waiting for a reply.
"Unknown ship on radar, Johnny." The computer informed him. "Two
thousand kilometers away, visual coming up on your screen now."
Johnny dropped the medi-kit on his foot. "Computer, that's the Blue
Dwarf. Plot an interception course, that ship has all my friends on
it."
"Johnny, the ship will worm-hole jump in ten minutes."
Johnny stopped the SOS repeating message and yelled out "Blue Dwarf,
this is Johnny B. Goode. I am in a little teal coloured ship that
will probably look like an enemy on your radar. I am situated two
thousand kilometers off your aft. Please wait for me to dock before
you jump, or give me your jump co-ordinates!"
