Mysterious-ness

Where:- The Dark recesses of the Cargo Bays, WHERE NO-ONE
DARE TO TREAD!!!!
 
“So…” said a voice “It worked?”
“Indeed” said another, it was unclear where the
voices were coming from but they both sounded familiar, the latter more so, but
strangely although clearly human it also had an artificial sound to it, as
though digitized, coming from an AI or a mechanoid.
“You ought to be pleased” said the first voice,
a shadow moving across the field of vision from where the listener sat, “You
were the perfect specimen, once my colleague here had perfected the process…”
“It was just a matter of time” said the digital
voice “The scientist who developed the original technology was a genius, It
didn’t take a lot for me to expand on it”
“What about the others, are they ready?”
“Nearly, they just need a few more days”
“Were you able to incorporate HIS…attributes
into ALL of them?” The shadow pointed towards the observer at this point.
“NO..seem’s there was an incompatibility…but
fear not, I’ve compensated I think you’ll like what I’ve done”
“I’m sure I will”
“Sorry to interrupt” came a third voice, this
one softer, feminine “But I thought you’d like to know, I’ve
been monitoring his progress, and so far no-one suspects a thing!”
“Excellent” came the digi-voice “You my
friend” it said, referring to the spectator “Are going to help make
us VERY powerful…..”
