Dante exited his quarter’s wearing his best suit, which Charlie had justconstructed for him. It was a strange sight seeing the usually rugged Dantewearing a tuxedo, and sprinting down the corridor. The tall, well-builtfigure of Dante slipped into the lift. “Deck 5, Parrot’s bar…… Charlie Ineed a count down n my watch, counting down till the worm hole opens.” SaidDante pushing his finger in his ear.“Roger that Dante, T minus 45 minutes and counting.” The lift stopped andDante shot out of the doors like a bullet out of The Gun ™. He arrived inParrot’s and there was no Aurora. He said and waited… But how was he goingto tell her he had to ruin their date by saving his thought to be nigh onextinct species.

Aurora appeared from the shadows, and saw Dante looking frantic. She locked eyes with him and kissed his cheek.
"Hey Dante, why do you look so rushed?" she asked, taking a seat on a bar stool. Dante took her hand and held it.
"Well, I don't know how to tell you this, but..." Dante looked away. Aurora felt her heart sink; She knew what was coming next. She also decided that she had to maintain her happy outlook.
"But what?"
"I... I have to leave you soon. I'm meant to go and save this race which are nearly extinct, and I have to go leap in a wormhole." To Dante's surprise, Aurora looked relieved.
"Oh, okay... Is there anything I can do to help?" Dante glanced at his watch, and noticed he had at least 20 minutes until he had to leave the girl he loved.
"No, not unless you want to come and risk death..."
Before Aurora had the chance to reply, he stood up and positioned himself so he was standing right in front of her. Aurora looked up at him in his suit, and smiled warmly. Dante bent down and kissed her, thinking of how good it felt.
Only the sound of Charlie's voice broke the two's kiss.
"Great timing, Charlie.." Dante muttered, kissing Aurora's forehead.
"I'll see you round?"
"Yeah, sure."
And with that, Aurora watched as Dante ran off...
