Aftermath
With the evil Holly gone, the original wasted no time in fixing the
disasters his counterpart had caused.
At least that was the idea.
What Holly succeeded in doing was this:
1. Instruct the remaining skutters (scutters?) to clean up the miscellaneous
organs the clones had so inconsiderately left lying around, and 2, Tracked
down the evil Smith hologram.
Holly was now trying (with little success) to restore the Smith hologram's
original personality. Why he was doing this was perhaps a question best left
to computers with I.Q.'s slightly higher than thier shoe sizes.
The trouble with restoring Smith, was the method the other Holly had used to
remove his personality. Rather than just yanking the whole thing, he had
carefully selected witch algorithms to change, and wich ones to delete
entirely.
Even if Holly had an IQ of 6000, it was unlikely that he would be able to
restore Smith exactly(defeating the purpose of the Holographic Resurrection
System anyway).
"Hmmmmmm. A few more whiny tendancies....A few less homicidal
obsessions....That should do it!"
Holly activated the "new" Smith and opened the last memory file uploaded
before the original had accidentally teleported into the core of Phebe's
sun.
Smith ran past Holly, trying desperately to evade invisible falling bits of
castle.
In his haste, Smith ran clear through the Drive Room wall. Finally realizing
what must have happened, John passed his hand back through the wall.
"OH SMEG!"

There goes my latest attempt to try and get posting again. I think maybe ill
make him go a bit loopier than he normally is, in light of his recent
reprogramming.
Why is his mind on file when he isnt officially a crewmember? Its because
one of his paranoid inventions, the Auto Holograhic Backup Generator
automatically refreshes his disc and relays it to the nearest JMC ship.
