Re: Ode to Hans Moravec

"you know what i have to do." Jack said, pointing Keats away from
their location at present, he turned to face the Robots, the field
around the first Robot flickered, and began to grow, encompassing the
entire group of robots, but Jack couldn't care less as he charged
towards them.
They fired weapons of all kind, and the lead robot began charging up
again, but it was a slow process as it took so much energy. Jack
raised his sword, and brought it down upon the flickering barrier.
There was a blinding flash of light, followed by a long stream of
light, and a cry of pain. The light dissipated, Jack was thrown from
the robots and into the building, smashing head first through the
wall. The robots below were completely unharmed, and began marching
towards Keats, the flickering field almost dissipated as they moved.
Jack flew through the building, and out of a window at the other
side, landing in a lake, floating in the centre, the starless night
sky giving little light into the fields that made up the sea of
Dirac. Jacks sword had flown free from his hand and landed in a rock
in front of Keats. He had felt the light blast, the heat caused by
the meson beam flying as near to him as it would be possible to
survive. He pulled the sword from the rock and carried on running.
Jack floated on his front in the lake, his Int Armour on very low
power, but just enough to give him a stable air supply and keep him
alive.
