Weapon Replacements

where: Severns Cargo bay/Jacks training room

when: just after amber and john left for the fight
"that bastard broke my sword!! I hope you have a spare!" Jack almost
shouted at Severn.
"not exactly... I've been messing with a very old energy pistol i
found in the lower decks of the ship, its got to be one of the
Prototype Bazookoid weapons, anyway, its very nice now" Severn
replied, and handed Jack a small red pistol (sorry onion, i had to,
but its not as powerful as i said before) and a belt holding 15
shells that had to be about 2 inches wide each. He also gave him a
sword with a gilt at an angle to the blade.
"that i call a Castor" he said pointing to the gun. "and that is a
gunblade, i know how much you love that old game..." he said pointing
to the sword, which had a small area for a clip next to the hilt,
which had a trigger in it.
"not bad, i like!!" Jack said, his face lighting up like a christmas
tree. "so... what does this gun do?" Jack asked, holding the small
red pistol, a crevice opened up at the back, the perfect size for one
of the bullets he'd been given. "load it up, and shoot through that
opening in the hull" Severn instructed, pointing at the exit point
for the Endymion, the only place on the ship with a holographic
shield.
Jack did so.
A small black section in the middle of the pistol span, orange and
blue light began to fly from it, similar to the way sparks fly. The
business end lit up as well, first a small red light appeared, and
began to grow. 2 seconds after Jack had pulled the trigger, a huge
blast of light shot from the gun, expanding to about the size of a
JCB wheel in 1 metre, and continued to expand for 3 metres, while at
the end of the light cone, a small blue projectile flew out of the
ship. Luckily, at this point, a Hymenoptera fighter flew past. The
small shell ripped through the aft section of the ship, tearing it in
half the same way bread tears. The small fighter limped for about 10
metres, before exploding in a shower of bio-circuits and metal
plates.
Jack stood in the cargo bay, his jaw as far down as physics allowed,
staring at the gun. After a few seconds of recognition, he smiled
and began to laugh.
"you've done it again, i love it!!" Jack said, spinning the pistol
around on his finger, before slotting it into the holster which was
part of the ammo belt.
The central, cylindrical part of the gun began to spin again, this
time red light was sucked into it, and Jack muttered as if in slight
pain. "what is this!?!?" he managed.
"Severn, oh god, i never thought of this, those bullets were with it
when i found it, there's Japanese writing on it, i'm guessing its
some sort of bio weapon, from what it said on them, i can only guess
that it draws the Bio energy of the user somehow... don't use it too
much eh?" Severn finished, as Jack managed to catch his breath again.
