Arr! Wormholes!

who: Jack and seymour
where: The Wormhole drive room
when: time is relative...
"hey, holly, patch me through to seymour" Jack asked the floating
head.
"you don't fit in the mail slot" came the reply
"you dumbass, let me talk to him!" Jack retorted sharply, raising
his sword to the control panel.
"ok, ok, why didn't you say that?" holly finished, and put him
through
"yes?" Seymour said, in his usual tone that said 'i'm better than
you, make it quick'
"uhh, can you join me up here, i want to make sure the wormhole
drive is still working, and i know nothing about it" Jack admitted,
he didn't know anything about alot of things...
"on my way" seymour said, and sighed as he started on his way up.
-------at the wormhole drive room a short time later--------
"i don't see why you needed me, of all people, I'm a royal
ambassador, not a...a... techie" Seymour had to pull up alot of
courage to be able to say word out loud, it was one of his least
favourite words.
The wormhold drive room door opened, and inside was just one
pirate... but he looked different, he had a parrot on his shoulder,
looking rather mechanical. "squark" it said, quite literally.
The pirate turned round, "arr matey, you're too late!" he said, as
he took the cover from the wormhole drive control panel.
Jack charged. "i'm never too late!" he said as he held his sword out
on front of him, blocking his access to the wiring inside. The
pirate drew his sword and sliced at Jacks back, but he ducked down
to the ground and rolled away fast enough to evade the swipe. Jack
bounced back up and held his gunblade in the classic Squall stylee.
"tell your men to leave us" Jack demanded, taking a step towards the
pirate.
"Arr!! never!!" the pirate responded, and charged, his shiney sword
held up high. Jack smiled and crouched slightly, ready to pounce.
The Pirate moved around Jack, jumping back and forth, not making any
aggressive moves, Jack just stood there, and closed his eyes, taking
a deep breath and staying quiet.
"Jack! Behind you!" came a cry from Seymour, as the pirate stopped
behind Jack and moved to slice him, but Jack had blocked out all
sound that was being made by Seymour, and could hear the air parting
behind him from the swords movement. He jumped forwards and parried
the blow. Jack had put too much power into the parry, as it sent
the pirate flying towards the control panel. He got up, and stood
in front of it.
Jack lunged, his sword moved in a perfect arc, towards the pirates
stomach, unfortunately, there was too much momentum in Jacks body,
and he couldn't stop as the pirate moved out of the way, Jacks sword
made contact with the control panel, slicing through wires and all
manner of buttons.
"Arr! my job here is done!" Said the pirate, and ran out of the
door, Jack threw one of his rocket powered throwing knives, but the
pirate vanished into an airlock, and out into space.
Seymour looked at Jack, then at the Control panel for the wormhole
drive. Then back to Jack
"uhh, can you fix it?" Jack asked.
