The Great Escape

"you've got about 5 minutes, so don't just stand there!" Chris said
again, as Jack raised an eyebrow and looked out of te window.
"getting you to the phoenix in 5 minutes may be a tad difficult." he
said, looking at the ship, drifting slowly.
"what?" chris said, looking to where Jack was, "oh ****." he swore,
pronouncing the asterixes as you'd never think possible.
"turn yourself off, it'll save power, and i'll be faster." Jack
said, holding his arm out ready to catch the light bee. Chris did
as he was told, and Jack expertly caught the light bee, and was away
without giving it a second thought.
Round corner after corner he ran, the same sign that they found as
they entered the ship loomed into view. Unluckily, just outside the
ship were the rest of the pirates... far too many of them for one
person to take down.
"Well, isn't it a good job i'm no normal person." Jack said to
himself, as he quickly loaded the Caster, and pointed it at the
enemies.
"hehe, see you in a very far away place." Jack said, his taunts not
having much effect on the advancing pirates.
The caster powered up, sounding not unlike a Vortex flying through
the air. That was exactly what flew from the barrel of the
weapon... A small vortex of pure life force. The vortex grew,
forcing its way down the corridor, vaporising the pirates who stood
in the way, Jack was hot on its tail, trying to fight off the pain
caused by his weapon.
"you owe me." he said to the light Bee, as he ran towards the
airlock.
"Amber! can you hear me? get that ship back here NOW!!!!" Jack
shouted, he had no time to concentrate on subvocalising, but luckily
Amber was calming down a bit, while Jay and CK were arguing, Jay
winning simply because he's a superior officer.
"guys..." Amber said, catching the message.
"what?" they both said together, Jay cracked CK on the shoulder, "in
the brig!" he said, before turning back to Amber. "whats up?" he
asked.
"It's Jack, he's still in the station, and Chris's Light bee got
shot." She said, jumping into the co-pilots seat, as Jay jumped over
the back of the seat into the place reserved for the Pilot.
"Can you still dock with the station?" Jay asked Kelly, who simply
replied "If you can hold it there... the docking clamps are totally
destroyed."
"damn that Callum..." he said, as he spun the ship around and
powered back towards the station, spinning the ship round as he
approached, stopping perfectly next to the air lock.
"Jack! get in!" he shouted over the radio, but Jack was a bit busy,
he just tossed the light bee through the door, which Jay caught, and
plugged in. The holo-emiters on the phoenix powered up, and Chris
appeared in the middle of the cockpit.
"JACK!!!" he shouted, seeing no less than ten pirates all attack him
at the same time, Jacks wounds were catching up with him, as he
slowed down, being pushed back.
"sorry, i'm gonna have to love you and leave you!" he said, as a
pirate charged at him, Jack jumped at him, feet first, and used him
as a launch pad, firing himself into the Phoenix.
"GO!" he shouted, Jay complied and moved off, looking for another
way to get the others off of the pirate ship.
Jack lay there, he dropped his sword next to him, and fell
unconcious from random wounds, Keto would have his work cut out for
him when they got back, Jack should've had about 4 broken bones by
now...
