the cavalry arrives!

"Damn! Damn smegging damn!" CK exclaimed. "Now we have to rely on
Dean "smegging can't fly a ship, but do" Thomas! And hopefully Jay
has something up his sleeve with the Pheonix, cos he's not with us!"
"Why do they always leave us in the dark?" mused Johnny as Eric
drove the car to the other side of the bug to attack the zombies who
had tried to flank them.

Right on cue as if they heard him, the Space Eagle 2 came into view, the
Inbound Raven and a couple of Blue Midgets in sight behind it.
"Howdy guys!" came Jay's voice, who was piloting the 'Eagle, over the radio
"Get ready to move I'm gonna clear you a path!"
"How?!" asked Callum watching as the Space Eagle broke off from the convoy
and dived toward the ground.
"Take cover!" was Jay's only reply.
The group ducked beneath the belly of the Starbug, as the Space Eagle
thundered overhead, dropping napalm onto the hoards of undead and cutting a
swathe through them.
"GO!" yelled Jay, the group took a few seconds to realise what had happened
and then got to their feet, a handful jumped into/ onto the car that Johnny,
eric and Seymour had arrived in, the rest running behind it.
The napalm scorched road ended on the edge of a river bank, where water
actually still ran on this hell-hole of a planet. The group saw that Jay was
landing, and that Dean in the Raven, and the two blue midgets, piloted by
Kara and Amber had already done so on an island in the centre of the river.
The group swam across and met up with them.
The Raven's hatch was open, and Callum and his group could now see that an
assault force, led by Alota and Phil was aboard.
"Glad you're safe guys" Alota said to Callum's squad. "We've been monitoring
from the 'Dwarf and we noticed the Zombies have bever once crossed the
water, figure they don't like it so we're gonna use this island as a base
camp.
Callum looked back at the river bank, sure enough there were a group of
zombies, some on fire from the napalm, shuffling around near the waters
edge.
"What happens now?!" he asked.
"We go here" said Jay showing Callum a map on his navi-comp.
"Whats there?!"
"The big guy's HQ mate" Jay replied "Were going in to take him out!"
"How can you kill something that's practically a god of evil?!"
"We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.........." said Jay
