It's well worth it! I'm currently completing a music course and all
my compositions are in MIDI. In the past, I've been able to use MIDIs
to do performances, but now I have to play at least one part by
myself for the HSC. But yeah, get into it! It's great for song
writing!
Well have you got any MIDI software? eg. Cubase, Cakewalk etc.?
That may be a big problem. Also, the MIDI cable from the synth to the
PC may be wrong. If it has 2 MIDI ports, try switching them around.
You also need to tell windows that the synth is there. If that's not
the problem, it may be that the program has to be configured some way
to record. Sometimes it takes some fiddling to get it fixed, but it's
well worth it!
I thought your theme was great! I'm presuming that was a family
member who went WASSSSUP in the middle...lol If you can get your
recordng connection up, tell me!
