Eric spoke up again. "Good idea. We have some specialised labs in the
armoury department where some gun-happy scientists live, you know
ones who were considered to strange to work in the normal science
labs. There have been some prototypes made. MP, you know where to go,
and I am sure you know what specs Mr Harris would want from his holo-
sword. Anyone else who wants a sword can wait for about, say five
hours when we should have about twenty more swords."
Jay got up and addressed the audience. "As we are all aware, we are
up against two ships, the good ship 'Planet Express Ship' and
the 'USS Enterprise E', both with formiddable crew. As has been
pointed out, the Blue Dwarf does not have ship-to-ship weaponry,
which means that we will need to use all the smaller crafts to
attack. I have spent the last few hours with my senior team with
Alota and Phil to decide on a battle plan. We were fortunate enough
to get our hands on the blueprints for both ships, as well as crew
data. The Enterprise is by far the larger threat, due to its larger
size and greater destructive capability. However, the records of both
ships indicate that they both continually take a lot of damage and
don't have the tightest of defenses. The crew of the Planet Express
Ship don't always work well together, and I am sure that we can force
the crew to surrender if we have enough alcohol to tempt them. The
captain of the ship is one to be reckoned with, and I would like to
have a strike party consisting of some very capable hand-to-hand
fighters to take her on. Any volunteers?"
"I'll lead this group." Chris volunteered.
"Sorry Chris, I'll need you on the Enterprise E, where much more work
is needed."
