OOC: Re: **New(?) Crew** Guinevere Winters

OOC - I know OOCs in here are not favoured but this is only a quick
one in reply to my lovely welcome, then I shall go searching for
Parrotts.
Thanks Becca, Andy and David for such warm welcomes, its more then I
could have hoped for as you could have all forgotten about me.
Andy, Your only saying that coz I'm an Aussie, aren't you !!! Lucky
for you I hate cricket, not being a fan of sports and that I'd
support England over Australia any day.
And my dear, dear Onion. Who's asking? You or that now surfer dude,
once bug up the bum Seymour ??? Coz Seymour's too old for her, but
him trying would be interesting.
To catch those up who weren't here when I last was:
I once played Eve Rimmer, my first character ever to be created in
the first PbEM RPG I was in ever in `Blue Dwarf'.
She was around 16-19, a scientist, even made it to chief before she
died (Because no one else played a scientist at the time, hehehe).
She dated Chris Zodar an engineer. (Who's player in real life took
me to my year 10 formal after we meet here.) She was Tara
FeBuggure's half-sister and the twins baby-sister. I think Rufus may
have even had a crush on her ??? She died saving the life of others
but mainly because I was bored with her.
Jasmine Starbolt was created and played before Eve died. An 19-23 yr
old nurse who dated Dean Thomas, not that he got that far with her
because he is Dean after all. I had to make her an NPC when I had to
leave due to lack of time on the internet and after a fashion she
was killed in the Keto - Whodunit Murder Mystery. Which after
reading last night was very well done, thank you all.

Character Name: Guinevere Winters

Nationality: Martian, technically as she was born on Mars, but very
much human.
Department: engineering
Job Title: Multi purpose mechanic
Physical Appearance: Guinevere is fair skinned, tall, slender and
muscular, especially in the upper arms. She has shoulder length
straight strawberry blonde hair that is always in a ponytail, her
eyes seem to sparkle a peridot green. Her left eyebrow is pierced
usually hosting a silver sleeper. She has a medium sized black
panther tattooed on her right shoulder and a green Egyptian Ankh
tattooed on the small of her back. Guinevere is usually found in
(working or not) black steel cap work boots, filthy oil stained dark
blue overalls with one clasp undone and a black long sleeved turtle
neck sweater under her overall's that don't cover her mid-drift.
Guinevere usually has small blood blisters under most of her
fingernails which she chews. She has several small scars over her
body from various incidents. She has a heavily scarred left kneecap,
a slight limp and a long thick scar on her stomach that goes from
the left side all the way to the right side, these are from when she
was 14 and helping fix a Starbug, while underneath working on the
landing gear she was partially crushed, due to the internal damage
she can not have children of her own.
Personality and Interests: Guinevere loves mechanics and engines,
getting dirty and getting drunk. Fixing a dirty engine drunk would
be one of her favourite past times. She's one of the boys disliking
anything feminine, apart from her teddy bear Rupert whom no one
knows about. She loves her magazines and comic books and to play
pool, she usually wins too. Guinevere enjoys beating guys she
doesn't know in arm wrestles and chin up competition's. While
Guinevere does drink a lot she isn't a drunk nor does she have an
alcohol problem, she just drinks more then a person should, she
doesn't get completely $h!t-faced all that often as she holds her
liquor rather well for a woman of her size, mainly due to her vast
experience in the substance. She may wear filthy overalls and her
work station has tools, engine parts, bottles of bourbon and papers
everywhere, but she is not a slob! When it comes to her own quarters
she is very clean and fairly neat, even though her fridge is full of
beer, left over pizza and pancake mix, she loves pancakes. Guinevere
dislikes losing, her mother, hot weather, most vegetables, canines,
spiders.
History: Guinevere grew up as the second youngest and only girl of
five children. Her three older brother's Griffith, Reece,
Christopher and even her younger brother Stuart are all over
protective of her, due to this she hung around them more then she
should have and grew into a tom boy, much to her parents dismay. Her
parents, Lois and Neil are both scientists working on several
projects for the Mars JMC Space Core Division, hence why all
Winter's children were born and grew up there. Lois and Neil
encouraged their children to follow in their footsteps and to their
delight Griffith and Reece certainly did. Christopher and Stuart on
the other hand became Flyboys, although Stuart is a very flamboyant
one. Guinevere
forged her own path into engineering and mechanics out of spite to
her parents as she enjoys worrying/upsetting them. Her brother's
Griffith and Reece dabbled in viruses in their spare time. Reece
died during one of their extremely dangerous experiments that they
conducted in the family `basement' when Guinevere was only 16. The
Winters were evacuated and relocated while their house was
destroyed. Griffith was thoroughly shaken by the ordeal that he had
witnessed and after a year in Quarantine, he assigned himself to a
science mission on board JMC Helio, a relatively small space vessel.
While he is still in contact with his family he hasn't been with
them since he left. Her brother's Christopher and Stuart were
pilot's for Mars JMC Space Core Division, each specialising in
smaller vessels. Only a few months before Guinevere was assigned to
JMC Blue Dwarf, Christopher died crashing his blue midget `The Wren'
into a larger vessel's Drive room. Stuart still flies and has even
become more reckless since Christopher's death. He and Guinevere are
in favourable contact more then the rest of the family as their
parents don't appreciate his life style. Her parents are currently
stationed on Uranus still working for JMC for months at a time,
Guinevere is in regular contact with them as her mother likes to
video phone her daughter no less then once a week to remind her how
they wished she had turned out different. Cerebrum would probably
find her a dream patient if Guinevere would allow him to treat her.
