River couldn't help but let out a burst of laughter at Max's words. "Oh, that is a hilarious image!" She said between fits of giggles.

Once she calmed down, the photographer turned her attention to Chris. "I'm sure she'll show you how it's done." The smile on her face fell when she heard Alexei screaming at Serenity again. "Oh, I want to give him a piece of my mind! That butthead should be fired!"

Kevin pulled on his backpack and let Bonnie climb up to his shoulders as he responded. Sounds like a good plan. I'll wait at the shop for you. Do you mind if I stay over tonight? I might not have a place to stay anymore. We can talk about it later.

With a grin, he looked to Bonnie and slipped the phone into a pocket of his jacket. "Want some snacks, Bonnie? I bought you some before closing up." He said sweetly to his possum.

Gritting his teeth, Kent finally let the tears spill down his face as his shoulders shook. It was the first time anyone had let him do this, let him show how hurt he was without judgement. "I...I'm sorry..." The words seemed to shake as he spoke them. "It's just...been rough to deal with."

After a few minutes, he finally calmed down enough to get rid of the tears and looked to Tamara. "If it helps, I really don't want to go home either." He chuckled nervously, but it faded away very quickly.
