The moment they arrived, Kent got out and headed to the front door. A surprised expression crossed his face as he noticed his old truck sitting out front instead of in the back yard. Shrugging it off, he unlocked the front door and stepped inside, making a beeline for his bedroom.

In the room, he grabbed some clothes and a few items. Shoving them into a backpack, he pried up a floorboard and reached inside, only to feel nothing. Grimacing, he leaned down to see the box he always hid there missing. "Shit..." He muttered and got to his feet. "He took my money...all that saved up money. Shit!"

Grabbing other necessary supplies, he headed for the front door, making a call as he did so. "Come on, answer....answer..."

He went silent for a moment, listening.

"Where is it?" Kent seethed and waited for an answer. If Tam was paying attention she would see the distress forming on his face.

"Why? I needed that money, dad!" He practically yelled into the phone. "How could you do this? Why?!" There was silence before he simply hung up and tossed the phone into his backpack. "Shit...shit...that money was going to get me out of this shit town..."

Taking a deep breathe to calm himself, Kent returned to the car and tossed his bag into the back seat. "Where to now?" He tried to sound cheerful.

Kevin grinned at the sight. "You two make such a cute couple." He laughed.
