Striking A Raw Nerve

Tam was furious once again, and a pineapple once again danced across the horizons of her horrible little mind once more before suddenly being snapped out of it by Kent's hand landing on her shoulder. She was surprised by it until her brain connected the dots that it was Kent's hand and she relaxed.

"I'm going to admit right now that you're a beautiful girl, but...uh..." For some reason, Kent couldn't make himself push her away.

"But...?" Tam looked up at him. Her face bright red as she blushed. She couldn't help but smile at him now. Someone thought she was beautiful and, better yet, Kent was the one who thought it. But she could see the conflict in his eyes.

Those dreamy eyes...

"Kent...? But what?"

Max frowned at Kevin's comment. "I don't need to get laid!"

Max would've rather not thought about his nonexistent love life at that moment. Though it seemed Kevin was dead set on playing Cupid. He shook his head and went back to petting Bonnie. "I don't need to get laid."

Yet he kept looking to his phone on the nearby countertop, plugged into its charger.
