Kent followed Tam and saw the commotion as River left the room for a moment. "Serenity's right," He said with a frown. "He's going to find out one day."

Returning with a glass of Chris' favorite drink, she crouched beside Serenity and help it out to him. "It's gonna be okay," She said with a kind smile. "You're safe here."

"Okay..." Kevin just fell back against the couch and stared at the ceiling. "I hate this..." He muttered. "I see why her dad looks like he does..."

Bonnie pulled the mouse close and curled around it, letting out a happy little purr. Turning her cute eyes to Max, her mouth almost curled into an innocent smile. As for the mouse, it was still trying to get free, letting out panicked squeaks as if pleading for help.
