The Parents

Kent gave the doctor an uncomfortable look before reluctantly pulling his shirt off to reveal old and new bruises along his body. He knew Tam had seen them, but this was a doctor and he knew the questions would soon come. It almost made him afraid to have her check what was wrong with his leg.

When they arrived at the airport, Kevin's parents were already outside waiting for them. His father looked like a taller, older version of the blond but without the scars and a very bored expression on his face. His mother, on the other hand, was a short little woman with her blond hair held back in a tight bun.

Mrs. Andrews eyes instantly zeroed in on the two men.

Kevin wanted to disappear into the car seat almost instantly. "She's going to murder me..." He whispered and forced himself to step out of the car. Greeting his parents with kind hugs, he helped with the small amount of luggage and welcomed them into the car.

"So, you must be Kevin's best friend," Mrs. Andrews inquired with a smile. "Max, was it? It's very nice to meet you. I apologize for my son's...moronic actions."

Kevin simply sat in the front passenger seat and hugged Bonnie and the mouse close.

"Try not to embarrass him too much, hun." Mr. Andrews said and nodded to Max calmly in greeting.
