Trust In The Possum

Tam smiled and noted how he was leaning on the wall. "Crutches giving you grief? Want to lean on me and get you seated somewhere, babe?" She looked to the sofa, a rather comfy looking one that was rather large, then to back bedroom down the hall where a new bed had just been put in by the movers. Her glances silently asking Kent where he'd prefer to go.

Chris curiously looked to River as her phone rang, wondering who it could be that was calling her.

Max happily picked up Bonnie and rested her on his shoulder, petting her as she went to collect her adopted mouse. "A part of me does feel sorry for you, Paul. It really does." He was being sincere, however the hell Layla had caused poor Kevin was still causing plenty of ire that could be heard in Max's voice. "I just hope she gets the help she clearly needs."

Then he looked to Kevin, studying the man's face to see what he felt about all this. The laugh he issued at the mention of having Bonnie Jr looked was... confusing to Max. But a laugh was better than nothing. He looked back to Paul and nodded. "Yeah, Bonnie here kinda... adopted him so... Yeah best to just make sure he's not carrying anything." He looked to Bonnie, already confident that she chose a perfectly healthy mouse to adopt. He trusted her instincts more than he trusted Paul's, after all.

"So... with all that settled... where does that leave us?" Max finally asked, unsure of what else to say given the weirdness of the whole situation.
