Blurting Things Out

Kent slowly sat down, making sure to be careful of his healing leg. Settling a hand on it, he turned his blue eyes to Tam and smiled. "I'm not really hungry right now, but water would be nice." He told her. "I just want to spend some time relaxing with you before I have to start my exercises tomorrow for this thing."

A light chuckle left him as he tapped said leg. Just being with her made him feel like he could get through everything more easily.

River looked to Chris and sighed. "Oh, just my mother...she called every week in an attempt to make me come back home." She explained with the wave of a hand. "I refuse to go back to that big city, though. Too many bad things..."

Yazuhiko arched an eyebrow with a frown. "A coach is meant to encourage and inspire victory, not force it. I want you to win when you are ready to win. You should enjoy ice skating and want to do your best, but not so much that it becomes a chore." He explained to Serenity. "Do you understand?"

"Yes, well, when your own daughter rapes you, you tend to be on high alert all the time." Paul said without thinking and froze as his words clicked in his head. It was not a lie, but he had never meant to just spit it out. The man was just so exhausted and ready to pass out he had let his mouth open before his brain could process what he was going to say.

Glancing back to Max and Kevin, he frowned. "I'll keep you both up to date on what happens." He told them before leaving.

At the sound of Paul's truck, Kevin frowned. "Did he say what I think he did?" He asked with concern in his eyes.

Bonnie, now on Max's shoulders, had grabbed the little mouse and was hugging it close as she nuzzled into the man's neck. She was happy and comfortable with her two favorite men in the room.
