Kent made sure to pay for what he could and helped Tam keep a close eye on Chris the entire time. Despite not knowing the boy too well, he found himself caring for him like a real younger brother. He simply enjoyed every moment he could with Tam.

Until someone finally approached them dressed much like some biker. "Kent, that you, man?" The guy asked with a grin. "Damn, you look weird! When did you settle down?"

Kent grimaced as he looked to the young man. "Hello, Brandon..." He muttered reluctantly, giving the man a warning look. "What is it?"

Brandon shrugged, his eyes taking in the sight of Tam and Chris. "Just wonderin' where you've been. You left the gang in high school suddenly and never gave any of us a call. We wondered what happened."

"I grew up." Kent retorted.

Bonnie was suddenly on the table and stole one of the books into her mouth before hopping off and running around the room more. Junior squeaked as he climbed onto the table and hopped up and down in encouragement.

Mr. Andrews walked over in time to snatch up Bonnie and gently pinch her nose. She instantly dropped the book, which he promptly caught. "Need this?" He asked calmly, holding the book out to Max. "Seems Yazuhiko is an old family friend that was there for River when she went through a tough time. The fact he's only into men helped her to trust him back then." His eyes turned to Bonnie as he kept her held out. "Now, are we going to behave and let them study or do I need to take you outside?"

Bonnie let out an unhappy sound, but refused to struggle.
