The Dating Game

Chris nodded happily at Kent's question. Tam just smiled, feeling closer to Kent than she'd ever felt before now. She felt safe when she was with him, happy and content.

"I'd love that..." Tam said as she leaned into him.

Once they were home they did just that, curling up on the couch with one another while Chris played his video games and watched movies and laughed.

It was the perfect day.

Jonah looked to her, it was his turn to blush right now. Was she really asking him out? The hopeful side of him wanted to think that, the other, more cynical side, was telling him not to jump to conclusions. That she wasn't thinking of him that way.

Yet the look in her eyes... he wanted to believe it.

"Dinner?" He finally asked. "My place... Tam's old place. I'll cook." He smiled warmly, hoping she'd say yes.

Max felt like he was in a dream now. "Lunch? Yes!" Then he cleared his throat. "Err... I mean yes, that'd be great. When would you like to get together?" His heart was racing now. It seemed like ages since he'd last been on a date, and that one had ended in disaster.

He was hoping that this one would be different.
