Physical Appearance

Boyce has beautiful brown eyes. His shiny brown hair is at shoulder length. His tan skin is in lovely condition. At 5" 11" and 190lbs and a medium, build makes him an attractive man he dresses in fine adventuring clothing a cloak that seems to blend into any area he is in. normally carrying an assortment of swords, daggers, throwing knives, and other stuff he may need.

Personality and interests

Boyce knows what the world is all about, but he intends to do his business and see to it that his Library's goals are met, with no complaints and no back-talk. He’s a combination of cheerleader and drill sergeant. He leads by example. He gets to know the minds of his companions and plays upon their own goals and desires to get his accomplished. Like a Crusader, he performs best when he’s headed in the direction of his personal goal. But if Boyce does takes on someone else’s goal, you can be sure that he’ll be unceasing and maybe unbearable in trying to motivate that person towards that goal. He won’t let the other character abandon the goal. He just never gives up.

Boyce is an ambitious seeker of knowledge. He wants to have political knowledge within the community, within the world, or both. This doesn’t mean he’s bad; he may be acquiring knowledge because he believes he can wield it better than others and make the world a better place. But he goes out of his way to gather favours, advise powerful people, and does so it well!

Skills

Boyce has great knowledge and experience of the world he knows the languages of the places he has been. Boyce has studied areas of history, language, the natural world, and Archaeology.

Boyce has worked as a scout and guide several times. He has good insight into things and a keen perception. These along with stealth and survival techniques are some of the skills that have kept him alive in the past.

Boyce is a good minstrel who can play the archlute instrument well and is a good singer and performer. Some say his charm is one of his better weapons.

His fighting skills are not bad either he has been trained in bladed weapons, and Pankration fighting. He is deadly with throwing Axes.

Background

Born in the shadow of the Great Library of Orb, in the Capital of The Empire of Salos, Boyce grew up in a large house with his parents Tanthor and Melyana Blackwolf, and his younger sister Gayla Blackwolf.
His family was scholars and they had a comfortable life at the Great Library of Orb.
It did not take long to see that Boyce was somewhat of a prodigy early on. He was above average in most things that he studied and turned his hand to. Like his parents had a hunger for knowledge. As a child, others saw him as being different, and so he had few companions growing up. He started working as a spy dealing in information. Also as a retriever of knowledge like his grandfather, Fallith Blackwolf who saw so much potential in him. He was trained to go out and find books scrolls and bring them back if necessary to the vast vaults of the Library.

Boyce joined the society of scholars and orators and The Great Library of Orb learning new techniques of knowledge and even attending the College of Salos. He was good at deciphering the ancient maps and clues he soon started down the road of learning the ways of the blade. Boyce believes his god Orestes works through him somehow and he does as Orestes asks, even though he doesn’t know why he was chosen to serve.
Boyce has always been nimble and quick of wit, so he decided to use those talents to help make his way in the world. He spent years traveling picking up on different skills and occupations even got involved in adventuring for a time. No matter what it was he was good at it. Now he just wants to study and learn more about the world of Arcadia. He lives for a challenge.

Reason for being in Arcadia

Boyce wants even more out of life with the hearing of new land, the possibilities seemed endless. Being able to learn new languages and possible new writings thrills Boyce as well as meeting of new people or better women. So he sold what he could and left for Arcadia.
