The merchant nearby clearly paled at Tarmen's gestures. His opponent moved his hand to the hilt of one of his many daggers, but the crouching man stopped him with a hand in his shoulder.

He grinned at Tarmen. He picked at his pouch and too a silver coin out tossing it in the sand in front of his markers. Still looking at Tarmen he pointed at himself, intertwined his fingers, and after pointed at the man of Kru'll. The insult was obvious. He was offering to pay Tarmen for his time.

Meanwhile the Ozainae woman stabbed Alexis' sword into the sand in front of the former mercenary, returning her blade with a shake of her head. She was clearly not impressed with the cumbersome weapon. She nodded at Alexis extending her hand asking for her own weapon back.
